The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent warm greetings and good wishes to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Philippines, Teodoro L. Locsin Jr., on the 124th Independence Day of the Philippines.
Minister’s message read that he sends sincere greetings to the Minister, the Government and the people of Philippines on the joyous occasion of the 124th Independence Day of Philippines, on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives.
Minister Shahid, in his message stated that Maldives and Philippines continue to enjoy excellent and steadfast relations that have existed for over four decades based on mutual respect and trust. He expressed keenness to deepening the friendship, strengthening the ties, and broadening the cooperation between the two countries based on our shared values.
He also extended his best wishes to the Minister's good health and success, and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Philippines.
