Raaiha (L) was killed in an accident that occurred in a region four hours away from Trivandrum

A Maldivian woman has been killed in a road accident in India on Tuesday.

24-year-old Aishath Raaiha, native to Madduvari island of Raa atoll, was killed in an accident that occurred in a region four hours away from Trivandrum.

She was in a vehicle with a number of other Maldivians, who had also sustained injuries in the accident.

The Maldivian consulate office in India has confirmed this.
