Police have on Sunday night apprehended the lawyer representing those currently in detention for the murder of writer Yameen Rasheed, for obstructing the investigation
The police announced in a tweet that Ali Shah had been arrested from his home for said obstruction of the police investigation.
However, they had not revealed any details about the nature of the obstruction.
Police have arrested a total of six suspects for the brutal murder, though they are yet to reveal any names.

At around 02:56 am on Sunday, Yameen Rasheed, who was vocal about several political and social issues, was found in the stairwell of his home with over 20 stab wounds to his chest, neck, and head.
