A Bangladeshi man has been found dead at a guest house in capital Male' City.
According to the police media department, the discovery of the deceased Bangladeshi man inside a guest house located on Kaasinji road of Henveiru ward was reported to authorities around 09:10 am of Sunday.
The deceased was a 38-year-old man, said authorities, adding that he had arrived from Meemu atoll Kolhufushi Island and that he had gone to ADK hospital on March 28th complaining of stomach pains. He had been asked to return for a second consultation on Sunday.
The case is undergoing further investigation. Authorities did not disclose any further details.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic sweeping across the globe, authorities had taken extra precaution and had worn protective clothing whilst removing the body from the guest house.
