Dead body found at sea near Thilafushi island

Thilafushi island, Kaafu atoll

A dead body was found in the sea near Thilafushi island in Kaafu atoll on Monday morning.

Police said that the discovery of the body was reported at around 8:36am.

Police have yet to reveal any other details, including whether the deceased is a local or foreigner.

They continue to investigate the matter.
