An Italian tourist has been found dead at Canareef Resort Maldives located in Addu atoll.
The incident was reported around 07:08 am on Sunday morning, reveals authorities.
Adding that no external injuries were found on the 62-year-old deceased Italian tourist, authorities state that the incident is undergoing further investigation.
As such, the victim was officially pronounced dead after being taken to Hulhumeedhoo Health Centre.
