MDP candidate Solih begins the campaign

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has begun his door-to-door campaign.


Solih, who is also the Joint Opposition parties’ candidate, began visiting houses in Vilingilli on Monday evening.

The locals discussed their concerns and the social issues with in the community in Vilingilli.

“We are visiting friendly houses. We also ask for permission before entering. We don’t carry a pass and forcefully try to enter houses out of obligation,” said Mariya Didi.
