Teams from Maldives Police Service (MPS) has entered opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) headquarters.
Police say they were searching the premises under a court order.
This is the third search of the headquarters in three weeks. The past two searches were carried out stating that activities were being carried out in the headquarters, which defamed visiting dignitaries.
Police had removed various items made by MDP to be used in local council election campaigns.
