Victory Sports Club has, on Friday, handed over its captain band to Ismail "Messi" Easa.
Hassan "Sadey" Ahmed and Rilwan "Riley" Ahmed were chosen as vice captains.
The "bands" were handed over to them by the team's former goalkeeper and well-known coach Ahmed "Maa'ttey" Mauroof, after a training session on Friday.
Rilwan had been the captain's during the last football season.
Easa, who had been the captain of Club Eagles in 2015, as nominated as best player in the Haveeru Sports Awards 2015.
While he was with Maziya Sports Club in 2015, he was not included in its starting 11.
Victory will play its first match of the season on Saturday night, against Club Green Street.
