Joint Opposition running mate Faisal Naseem has said that the furtherst progress a nation can achieve is to give the opportunity for citizens to live a dignified life with their family.
Speaking at the mass opposition coalition event at the Alimas Carnival on Saturday night, Faisal vowed that a government led by the opposition will provide social protection.
He said that, in their visits to 180 islands, they have seen the burden on families with special needs, detailing how sick old and young family members have to be bedridden due to government neglect.
Faisal vowed that Joint Opposition candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s government will solve these issues and provide them with a dignified life.
Regarding candidate Solih, Faisal said that he is someone who remains steadfast in his work even during difficult times and that he has never been involved in corruption in his long political career.
Faisal added that citizens have already made their decision and that what is left is for them is to come out on September 23 and vote for Solih.
