Ooredoo launches 'World Cup Foari' with exciting offers

Ooredoo Maldives has launched its campaign, “World Cup Foari” to mark the 2018 FIFA World Cup men’s football tournament to be held in Russia.

This campaign provides exceptional offers that enable customers to watch the World Cup from wherever they are, including a special mobile streaming package that lets customers view the entire tournament whenever, wherever for just MVR 195. With this offer, customers need not pay additional data charges on its nationwide 4G+ network and will be available for subscription from the beginning of the cup on the 14th of June.

Another offer includes the FIFA World Cup Fantasy at the end of which, the player at the top of the league by the end of the cup will win a brand-new iPhone X. Players can participate with the code YOB4GGV3.

Ooredoo also plans to introduce a contest on social media platform, twitter, where on lucky winner who predicts the correct score of world cup games wins 5 GB of free data.

Additional exciting contests include “Dhen Vaanee Kihinei?” which carries exciting prizes for winners upon guessing what happens next in incomplete videos from past world cups.

Ooredoo has also partnered with renowned café’s and restaurants across the nation this football season to broadcast the World Cup throughout the country and Ooredoo’s FIFA World Cup wall charts will be available from Ooredoo Experience Centers.

Ooredoo has also introduced picture frames for social media platform Facebook profile pictures called “Varah Thafaathu”, allowing fans to show support for their favorite teams.

According to Ooredoo’s Chief Executive Officer Najib Khan, the telecommunications provider is putting in their best efforts to further enhance the digital experiences provided to customers and exceptional new services.
