Surface winds will be light and variable becoming northeast to easterly at three to 13 miles per hour.
Seas are expected to be slight becoming moderate during showers, said MET Office.
An official from the office told RaajjeMV that heavy showers are expected in neighboring India and Sri Lanka as well.
