Maziya Sports and Recreation’s skillful midfielder Ahmed ‘Aakko’ Imaz has renewed his contract with the club.
The club announced as such on their website as well, and assured its confidence in the player, who has been with them since 2015, for the upcoming season.
Aakko is also player on the national team, having previously been a credit to the national under-23 team as well.
Maziya had won the STO Malé League last year but failed to maintain this level of achievement for the rest of the season, having lost out on a spot in the FA Cup.
The club has been working on amping its team, and as such made the decision to keep on Hassan ‘Dunga’ Shifaz, who has been with them since 2011.
The club has also signed on midfielders Ahmed Hassan and Ahmed Nizam, who were with Club Green Streets.
