New Radiant Sports Club (NRSC) has extended their league in the Ooredoo Dhivehi Premier League, following their win over Kudahuvadhoo team.
The team won Sunday night’s match by defeating Kudahuvadhoo by three goals to nil.
NRSC put a dismal show in the first half, in spite of the many opportunities to score a goal laid to waste by Ali Ashfaq, Hamza Mohamed and Ali Fasir.
First half ended goalless.
New Radiant broke the stalemate at the 52nd minute by a goal from Adrian Galado, followed by a second one from Ali Fasir in the 67th minute. The final goal of the game came in the 71st minute by Markovich Steven.
New Radiant had extended their lead by four points to second placed TC Sports Club. With the win New have 33 points from 12 matches. Team Kudahuvadhoo grazes the bottom of the table with two points from 12 matches.
