The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has announced that it has arrested all their suspects in the murder of writer Yameen Rasheed.
In a statement on Monday, the police said they are now working to forward the suspects for prosecution.
The police have reportedly garnered enough evidence against said suspects.
The police have arrested seven individuals for Yameen’s murder, one of them being a lawyer accused of trying to obstruct the investigation.
While two suspects were remanded last month, the lawyer – Ali Shah – has been released to house arrest.
Yameen was found stabbed over thirty times in his head, chest, and neck on 23rd April.
