The Transparency Maldives has organized a panel discussion for Yameen Rasheed’s murder to be held on Thursday.
‘Dhen Aharanbaa?’, which literally translates to ‘Am I next?’, will be held at the fourth floor of Clique College in capital city Malé from 21:30 to 22:30.
The panel will be led by Maldivian Democracy Network’s Executive Director Shahindha Ismail, its board member Mohamed Hameed, renowned lawyer Husnu Suood, and other democracy advocators and human rights activists.
The panel will hear and oversee discussions over concerns that have arisen since the brutal murder of blogger and writer Yameen Rasheed.
At around 02:56 am on 23rd April, Yameen, who was vocal about several political and social issues, was found in the stairwell of his home with over 20 stab wounds to his chest, neck, and head.
